Hi, I'm Kath ...

It’s my belief that awesome wedding days begin with awesome wedding ceremonies. It’s a little like the curtain raiser to the main event, and it will set the tone for your whole day. For that reason, it’s really important to find the celebrant who is just right for you, so thanks for taking the time to find out a little bit more about me.

The abridged version is that I am a mother of four, a wife and a full time celebrant, and all three are roles that I love. I’m not saying that they don’t come with their challenges, but overall, it’s a pretty nice mix. I love yoga, champagne, nights out with friends and family, and having fun, and I dislike brussel sprouts, rude people and sand in my bed.

I grew up on the north coast of NSW and returned here in 2005 because, to be honest, I believe that this is one of the most beautiful places to live, work and raise a family. I was married here myself, on the dunes of Byron Bay, and it was the perfect back drop for what remains one of the most amazing and memorable days of my life.

I love to entertain, and my family home in Tintenbar is often the backdrop for many gatherings. From barbecues with friends and family, to coffee catch ups and champagne on the back deck at sunset, guest are always welcomed with open arms.

I would like to think that people would describe me as a warm, vibrant and fun-loving person with a real passion for what I do. I wear my heart on my sleeve and what you see is what you get. I love to work closely with my clients, and really get to know them so that together, we can create the perfect wedding ceremony for them.

As a full time celebrant I don’t have to juggle my time around another job, and my kids are all big enough now to look after themselves, most of the time, so this means you get my full attention and focus when it comes to your ceremony.

There’s a great saying that I love that says “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” and that pretty much sums up how I feel about my role as a celebrant. So whether you’re planning a simple barefoot beach ceremony or an incredible hinterland extravaganza, I am here to help and can not wait to hear from you. Chat soon!
